Coach Shanley Roxburgh (Intermediate Swimmers) |
|

|
Started swimming competitively in 1994 for Punahou
Aquatics (neat fact: Coach Kenny was my first coach).
And also
swam for Punahou School
from 7th -12th Grade.
Went on to swim in college at Willamette University for
four years where I specialized in the distance free
events (500, 1000, 1650), the 200 Back, and senior year
the 400 IM.
I came over to Rainbows in the summer of 2006 to train
with Kenny’s group in preparation for my senior year
swim season. It was an amazing summer and I quickly
learned that Rainbow Aquatics was much more then just a
swim team, but a family as well. I loved how everyone
got along and how close the swimmers as well as the
parents were.
The first and foremost reason why I coach is that I love
swimming. I love watching all of the swimmers grow and
improve not only their times, but their techniques as
well. |

Coach Morgan Ross (Beginner Swimmers) |
|

|
I started swimming at age 8 for Punahou Aquatics.
During high school,
I played water polo and I was also on the paddling team.
I also
taught swimming at Leahi Swim School for a few summers.
I recently graduated from Vassar College with a degree
in Geology. While studying there, I
joined the swim team where I swam distance freestyle and
butterfly.
I enjoy hiking and surfing
in my spare time.
I am also enjoying coaching and getting to know the
swimmers. |
